For those of you who don’t know, I used to be really into makeup. (I still am, but I’ve toned it down!) During that time, I tried countless lip products from brands like Fenty Beauty and Tom Ford. Of course I have my drugstore favorites, but when it comes to high end, I swear by Dior lip products. Today I’ll tell you about my favorites and the shades.
The first product I love is the Dior Addict Lip Maximizer Plumping Gloss in 010 Holo Pink, a shimmer finish. Honestly, when I first got this item, I didn’t read the label and wasn’t aware of its “plumping” properties. So when I wore it for the first time, I was a little taken aback by the slight tingle sensation. However, it is not overpowering or irritating at all. What initially drew me into this lip product was the various holographic pink coral sparkles that shifted in the light. But of course its hydrating properties are a plus as well.
The second product I constantly reach for is the Dior Lip Glow Oil in 20 Mahogany. This product is actually a staple in my everyday natural makeup routine. Its deep color can be deceiving as it leaves more of a tint. I was first introduced to this item from a viral video I saw on TikTok. Once I bought it and wore it for the first time I was pleasantly surprised by how thick the formula was. I would consider it longer lasting than the lip maximizer plumping gloss. Worn on its own brings a rosier tone and shine to your lips or you can layer it over lipstick for a more intense effect.
