In my purse I always carry essential lip and eye products. In this small collection, there are two Maybelline products I use everyday. I use the Lash Sensational Sky High Mascara and the SuperStay Ink Crayon Lipstick. I have always liked Maybelline products in general, but slowly I moved away from trying their newer products. I have been trying to buy this mascara for some time now and it was never in stock when I went to the store. They have always made amazing mascaras, however, this one has glowing reviews. Personally, I don’t enjoy waterproof formulas so I have the washable version in 800 Blackest Black. I go in with this product after curling my lashes. Honestly, I wasn’t too optimistic because every mascara I have ever used has bled onto my lower lash line! Surprisingly, this one lasts all day, adds plenty of length, and is very buildable.

I initially hadn’t been looking for the lipstick the way I looked for the mascara. My mom purchased this lipstick and I decided to try it just for fun. I tried Lead The Way on and it was the perfect match for my lips! Let me explain what I mean by this. Last year, I had my lips blushed also known as tattooed with semi-permanent makeup. This type of procedure has to be touched up every year because with time the color begins to fade. This lipstick matches the color I had done beautifully. Not only that, it has a soft, natural finish formula. I then top it off with some gloss which I will be talking about in a post very soon. This lipstick and the mascara are the two Maybelline products I use everyday. If you had to try one, I would recommend going for the mascara first.
